TAHSA's 19th Annual
"Art Is Ageless" Contest and Exhibit

Art Show Coordinators are still needed for TAHSA's "Art Is Ageless" contest and exhibit! This year's winners will be exhibited at the State Capitol from May 8 through May 15. We are very proud of past participation and expect 2009 to be a great celebration of TAHSA's 50th anniversary. An Art Show Coordinator spreads the news of the Art Show to residents and assists them in completing the entry process correctly and on time. You will also be TAHSA's main contact for your community's correspondence and questions. The TAHSA Art Contest and Exhibit is a great way to encourage the creative abilities of your residents and boost their self-esteem. It gives your artists a chance to compete with participants from around the state and meet new people at the reception, and it provides a chance for your community and place winners to receive positive exposure at the exhibit, again showing the public that art really is ageless.

Click here for an Art Show Coordinator sign-up form. Please complete the Art Show Coordinator Form and fax to (512) 467-2275 or email to claire@tahsa.org.

Contact Claire Morris at (512) 467-2242 or claire@tahsa.org if you have any questions about "Art Is Ageless."

Registration is Still Available for the Archived Webinar:

"Trends in Technology"

Information provided is helpful for staff of Residential Care, Assisted Living and Nursing Homes. The future of lightening the load for nurses and capturing all data needed for maximum reimbursement lies with technology. What is out there? This 'webinar' covers many systems available for all settings while you watch from your computer. Click here to read more about the archived webinar.

When you want to take this seminar, as you drill down to register, it will say Seminar January 1, 2009. That is being corrected. It should say 'through' January 1, 2009. And even then we may extend its availability.
