LeadingAge Texas Annual Leadership Conference: "Courageous Leadership"

Join us for our annual conference in a retreat-type setting for executive directors, administrators, assisted living managers, housing managers, nurses, marketing professionals, social workers, dietary staff and any other leaders within the aging services setting.  This conference will be interactive and participatory, and you are encouraged to bring the management team from your organization to participate in this educational experience.

Topics will include:

• Attracting, recruiting, and retaining quality staff, becoming an "employer of choice," and how to sharpen your employee wellness & satisfaction initiatives;
• Fine-tuning your overall communication strategy, with a focus on effective marketing and social media efforts;
• Implementing a hospitality-driven culture in your community;
• Developing a strong resource development plan, including tips on what foundations are looking for in their charitable giving; and
• Responding effectively to change in a leadership role.

The conference will be hosted by Dr. Kay Potetz, renowned speaker and management consultant with a background in healthcare and business administration.  Other speakers will include those from both within and outside LeadingAge Texas membership.
